As our storytellers grow from seven-year-olds to organizations like Mary’s Place, the tools must grow with them. Working with organizations, we realized some stories are not one voice, but many.
So we created something to match that and give individuals and teams a virtual place to work together. Introducing Spaces. Spaces is a shared workspace for storytelling where teams create books that reflect their mission.
With Spaces organizations (and individuals) can:
1. Collaborate with defined roles
Spaces are where teams work with clarity. Roles mirror real life:
Owner: Sets direction and can purchase or approve,
Admin: Manages members and settings,
Editor: Writes, edits, and designs,
Viewer: Reads and reviews.
2. Lock story
Draft freely. Regenerate images. Iterate together. When the book is ready to stand, lock it. Locking a story keeps the final version intact so only the owner can make changes.
3. Logos and identity
Upload a logo for your organization or for yourself so every book and page clearly reflects its source. This is mine. This is us.
Organizations tell stories to preserve who they are and who they serve. Spaces turns that intent into a workflow. Identity is clear. Roles are clear. The story is safe once it is done.
