When a child finishes a story they love, they almost never say "the end." They say:

We heard it from seven-year-olds and we heard it from authors. The hardest part of finishing a book was not the writing. It was the goodbye. Someone would build a character they adored, a girl named Aysha with a particular smile and a particular kind of courage, and then the book would close, and Aysha would stay behind on the last page.

So we built Series. Here is how it works.

Now, once you have written book one, you can keep going. The same characters, the same world, carried forward into book two and book three and as far as the story wants to travel. Aysha stays Aysha. The same face, the same eyes, the same girl your reader already fell for, showing up again like an old friend. And as her world grows, you can bring in new characters to grow alongside her.

This was the part we cared about most. A series only works if the reader can trust it, if the Aysha on the first page of the second book is unmistakably the Aysha they already know. So we made sure of it. You write the next chapter of her life, and we keep her whole.

The best characters were never meant to live in a single book. They were meant to become companions. Now they can.
