Once upon a time, the sun peeked through the curtains. A little girl named Kenza woke up early. She sat on her bed. She wondered who she could play with. With excitement, she ran to her brother's room. She pulled the curtains back but saw her brother was still asleep. She stood there and wondered who could she play with. With excitement again, she ran to her parents' bedroom door. She knocked lightly but heard no sound. She knocked again. She counted to three: 1, 2, 3. She knocked a little louder one last time. Still no sound. She leaned on the wall and wondered who she could play with. She walked back to her room. She grabbed a chair to turn on the light. Suddenly, she saw her two best friends! Mishmish was a soft stuffed cat. Kharoofi was a fluffy stuffed sheep sitting next to the magnetic tiles. Kenza jumped off the chair. She gave them both big hugs. "What do you want to do today?" she asked. She made Mishmish point at the tiles. She made Kharoofi point, too. She picked up a few pieces and said, "Each of you gets a room." She built a square wall for Kharoofi and one for Mishmish. She said, "Now we need a kitchen." Again, she built a square wall. She grabbed her kitchen toys and placed them inside. She grabs toy cups and puts them inside the new kitchen. "Do you want tea?" she asks Kharoofi. She whispers in a sheep voice, "Yes, I want some." She shouts like Mishmish, "I want some, I want some too!" As she poured pretend tea for her friends, she heard, "Knock, knock, Asalamu-Alykom!" Baba opened the door and saw her playing. Kenza jumped up and gave a big hug. "Wa-Alykomu-Salam Baba, could you play with me?" she asked. "Of course. What's happening now?" he said. She smiled. "I just gave my friends tea in the kitchen. Now we need to build the rest of the house." She handed Baba a magnetic tile. "Could you please build a garage with a window? And I will build the living room," she said. Baba grabbed the tile. "Yes, insha-Allah, my junior engineer!" he said. He kissed her forehead. "Thank you for letting everyone sleep!" he said. Kenza smiled. "Baba, you wanted to sleep, and I wanted to play." Baba built the garage. But he looked around. Something was missing. Kenza sees her Baba's expression and says, "Oh, I have two cars," Kenza said. "A blue car and a red car. Which one do you want?" "I'll take the blue car," he replied. Kenza got the blue car. She handed it to Baba. Until finally, they heard a noise. Her little brother Idrees woke up. Kenza asked if Idrees could play. "How will he play with us?" Baba asked. "I build it up, and he is the Babyzilla!" Kenza laughed. Baba got Idrees from his crib. Idrees wiped his eyes and looked at Kenza with a big smile! He looked at the big tiled house. He gave a huge grin. Baba put Idrees down. Idrees ran fast! Crash! He knocked all the tiles down. She looked up at Baba. "It's okay, Baba, we can build another one!" she said. Baba smiled widely. He kissed her forehead. "You silly billy, let's go make breakfast," he said. Kenza held Baba's hand and went to the kitchen with Idrees.
