ABC, Come Learn with Me!

James and Kayla set out on a sunny adventure with a blank map and a dream to stamp every letter of the alphabet. Along winding forest paths they meet playful animals and taste colorful fruits from A to Z. With each new letter and sweet fruit they learn together and never give up. As the sky turns dark the map fills with shiny stamps and glowing lightning bugs guide their way. A friendly park ranger awards them badges for teamwork, courage, and a day of learning they will always remember.
The bright sun wakes up the sky. Yellow butterflies flutter and fly by. "Today will be great!" James says.
He holds a blank map for the day. "Each new letter gets a stamp!" Kayla says. "ABC, come learn with me!"
A is for Alligator. Apples to eat! B is for Bear. Bananas are sweet. C is for Cat. Cherries are red.
D is for Dog and Dragon Fruits ahead. E is for Elephant. F is for Fox. See the Fig below?
G is for Giraffe, while Grapes hang high. H is for Horse; they can be tall or short. I is for Iguanas and all of their friends.
J is for Jaguar. Jackfruit in hand. K is for Koala, so fluffy and sweet. L is for Lion; they are strong and fierce.
M is for Monkey, and Mangoes look neat. N is for Nectarines, they are so sweet. O is for Owl, and Oranges are round.
P is for Parrot. They are smart and intelligent. The path is long. Kayla is tired now. James holds her hand as he wipes her eyebrow.
"We are so close!" he says with glee. "ABC, come learn with me!" Q is for Quail. A Quince on the ground.
R is for Rabbit. Raspberries all around. S is for Strawberries, there is some to pick. T is for Turtle, and Tangerines are thick.
U is for Umbrellabird that sits up high. V is for Vulture with some dark eyes. W is for Wolf and Watermelon is great.
X is for X-ray Fish you can see at night. As the sun goes down. The sky turns dark.
Y is for yellow, our yellow map Z is for Zebra, and we soon finish at last. They fill up the map. They did it so fast!
The map stamps shine. A friendly park ranger walks their way. "You earned a badge for completing each task!"
He gives them badges, shiny and bright. Kayla and James hug in the warm night. They hold their map for all to see. "We did it! ABC, come learn with me!"
